(GSM) – Portsmouth defied Tottenham to reach the English FA Cup final. In Sunday’s semi final with Tottenham Hotspur, Pompey banged 2 goles in soccer's extra time game.After 90 minutes goalless, extra time was needed to decide the winner of the challenge the favorite side to win.
But nine minutes had passed in the first half of extra time when Frederic Piquionne beat keeper Gomes for 1-0.
And the match was all but decided with three minutes to play as Aruna Dindane was hauled down in the penalty area and Kevin Prince Boateng blasted the spot kick into the left corner and out of Gomes’ reach.
Portsmouth, including their veteran goalkeeper David James, will face Chelsea in the final.
